DO NOT WRING. Remove moisture using a clean cotton towel, laying scarf flat on the towel then rolling up the towel and scarf together and pressing to release moisture into the towel.
The scarf can then be dried flat on the towel out of direct sunlight, or dried on an airing rack if you prefer.
