Stains should be treated preferably as soon as possible after they occur to avoid setting.
Before beginning, ensure your working area is completely clean so as to avoid further staining your scarf. To remove stains, first lay the scarf flat on a towel. create a 50/50 mixture of water and delicate laundry detergent and apply to the stain using a cotton bud or pad and a gentle rubbing motion. Avoid rubbing too hard or too much as this can damage your silk.
